This workshop is an invitation to slow down, play, and reconnect with your creative energy through the magical, meditative art of weaving. We’ll begin by opening the circle with a group tarot reading and a short writing ritual to set intentions to understand what threads of energy, dreams, or affirmations you’d like to weave into your piece.

From there, we’ll explore a bit of weaving’s rich history before moving into a complete tutorial, followed by relaxed “open studio” time where you can create at your own pace.

You’ll learn how to set up a loom, how to weave with varying stitches including basic tabby weave and soumak, how to add fringe, and how to finish your piece so it can be displayed as art for your wall, or table, or anywhere you want!

Along the way, we’ll invite mindfulness into the process, treating each thread as a spell, each knot as a prayer, and each color choice as a reflection of your inner landscape.

No prior experience is required, just curiosity and a willingness to explore. All tools will be provided, with an optional supply list shared in advance. This class is open to all ages and best suited for students comfortable using sewing needles and scissors.
